TotalBuild Mechanical provides HVAC/R services including, but not limited to:

• Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installation

• Refrigeration system service and repair

• Gas system service and diagnostics

• Equipment startup and commissioning

• Maintenance, inspections, and system evaluations

All services are subject to availability, site conditions, and applicable local/state regulations.

2. Estimates & Pricing

• All estimates are non-binding unless explicitly stated in writing.

• Final pricing may change based on:

  • Site conditions

  • Additional labor or materials required

  • Code compliance requirements

• Written approval may be required before additional work is performed.

3. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• For larger projects:

  • Deposits may be required before work begins

  • Progress payments may be scheduled

• We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service for non-payment

  • Suspend ongoing work for overdue balances

4. Cancellations & Scheduling

• Customers must provide reasonable notice for cancellations.

• Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a service fee.

• Arrival times are estimates and may vary due to job complexity or prior service calls.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

• Provide safe and accessible working conditions

• Ensure utilities (power, gas, water) are available if required

• Disclose known issues with systems prior to service

• Secure pets and ensure a safe work environment

6. Warranty & Limitations

• Labor warranties (if offered) will be specified in writing.

• Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment and parts.

• Warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse or neglect

  • Improper operation

  • Pre-existing conditions

  • Work performed by others after our service

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• TotalBuild Mechanical is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of use, income, or business interruption

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service provided.

8. Property & Equipment

• We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to property or systems

  • Damage caused by aging or failing equipment during normal service

• Customer acknowledges that working on older systems carries inherent risks.

9. Code Compliance

• All work will be performed to best industry standards and applicable codes.

• If existing systems are not code-compliant:

  • We may recommend upgrades or corrections

  • Refusal of recommended corrections may limit liability and warranty

10. Refrigerant & Environmental Compliance

• All refrigerant handling is performed in accordance with EPA regulations.

• Customer agrees not to request or require illegal handling of refrigerants.

11. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

• Unsafe conditions are present

• Harassment or inappropriate behavior occurs

• Work requested violates laws or regulations

12. Website Use

By using this website, you agree:

• Not to misuse or attempt to disrupt services

• Not to copy or reproduce content without permission

• That information provided is for general purposes and may change

13. Privacy

Any personal information collected is used solely for:

• Service scheduling

• Communication

• Billing and recordkeeping
